The group meets four times annually for full-day meetings.

J. Boye provides meeting minutes from each meeting as well as an online forum for members to continue the conversations in between the meetings.


Members of this group lead or manage their organisation’s digital presence, mainly in terms of customer-facing (B2C or B2B) channels.
They report to senior leaders within their organisation, or are on in some cases themselves members of the senior leadership team.
They hold significant experience in operating business as usual (through established procedures and processes) as well as projecting change (through strategy and tactics).
Their organisations are typically large and complex, often with multiple locations and digital teams, either nationally or internationally.


This group is focused on the challenges facing those tasked with leading and managing their organisation’s customer-facing digital presence.

A range of topics are covered, determined by the interests of the group’s member, members of the wider J. Boye network and key trends. Current topics include:
  • Platforms: CMS, DQM, DXM/CXM, etc.
  • Marketing.
  • Customer experience.
  • Multiple channel presence: web; social; apps; etc.
  • Multiple device touch points: mobile; IoT; etc.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs): operational and strategic; benchmarking; etc.
  • Metrics, measurement, analytics and reporting: benchmarking; dashboards; etc
  • Digital roles: titles; skills; etc.
  • Management structures: multiple teams; governance; etc.
  • Digital Quality Management (DQM): optimisation; SEO; etc.
