Members of this group lead or manage their organisation’s digital presence, mainly in terms of customer-facing (B2C or B2B) channels.
They report to senior leaders within their organisation, or are on in some cases themselves members of the senior leadership team.
They hold significant experience in operating business as usual (through established procedures and processes) as well as projecting change (through strategy and tactics).
Their organisations are typically large and complex, often with multiple locations and digital teams, either nationally or internationally.
